Maybank TreatsPoints Redemption: How to Convert Points for ChargEV Charging E-Vouchers and Redeem in ChargEV App

Maybank TreatsPoints can now be redeemed for ChargEV charging e-vouchers, which are available for EV drivers. These e-vouchers can be redeemed online, but they are limited in quantity so it is recommended to redeem them quickly before they run out.

To exchange your TreatsPoints for ChargEV charging vouchers, you can go to the ChargEV e-Voucher page on the Maybank TreatsPoints portal and make your purchase.

The price of the RM50 voucher is RM64, including a markup. This voucher can be exchanged for 32,000 points. Alternatively, you can choose to partially redeem points, such as 10,000 points + RM44 or 16,000 points + RM32. To complete the redemption process, you will need to log in with your MAE account and undergo a secureTAC verification.

The RM50 ChargEV e-Voucher can be used for at least 1 year and can be redeemed through the ChargEV app, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Instructions on how to use a Charging eVoucher in the ChargEV app are as follows. After making a purchase, the e-Voucher will be delivered electronically through email. In our experience, we received our e-Voucher approximately 20 minutes after receiving the confirmation email from MyTreats. It is possible to redeem multiple vouchers, with each voucher code being sent separately to your email inbox.

After you have gotten your voucher, open the ChargEV app and click on the MORE button at the bottom of the screen. Next, select Redeem Package. You can then input the voucher code by copying and pasting it into the app, and finally, tap on continue.

After verification, the credits will show up in your ChargEV account.

As per the terms and conditions, the credits can be utilized to cover the cost of charging sessions that are RM50 or lower, after any discounts from membership plans. It's important to remember that the credit can only be used for ChargEV operated chargers in Malaysia through the ChargEV app, despite ChargEV having agreements with other Charge Point Operators for roaming.
