Proton has decided to extend the RM4,000 launch rebate for the e.MAS 7 to an additional 3,000 customers. The e.MAS 7 has become very popular, with Pro-Net receiving over 2,500 bookings in less than two weeks after its launch.
For those looking for a more affordable option, it seems that Pro-Net has decided to continue offering a discount of RM4,000 on the launch price of their base model, bringing it down to as low as RM105,800. Originally limited to the first 3,000 customers, this rebate has now been extended to an additional 3,000 buyers of Proton's first electric vehicle.
Pro-Net reported that more than 3,000 reservations have been made for the e.MAS 7 in just one month. Because of the high demand, they are prolonging the promotion to allow more people in Malaysia to try out the Proton e.MAS 7 and enjoy the advantages of owning an electric vehicle.

The Proton e.MAS 7 is available in a range of colors including Platinum Silver, Turquoise Green, Slate Gray, Quartz Rose, and Lithium White. No matter which color you choose, the interior of the fully electric SUV will be Indigo Blue.
As part of the new customer package introduced at the launch event, buyers of the Proton e.MAS 7 will receive special benefits.
Pro-Net has specified that customers are eligible for a one-to-one battery replacement under warranty if the health of the high-voltage battery drops below 70%.
According to Pro-Net, the estimated cost of servicing the e.MAS 7 over a 10-year period is RM2,500, not including labor fees. Unlike traditional gas-powered vehicles, the e.MAS 7 only needs servicing once a year or every 20,000km after the initial 5,000km service.
As an electric vehicle, there are certain parts that do not need regular replacement like engine oil, transmission fluid, spark plugs, timing belt/chain, and oil filters. The only components that need to be replaced according to the official service schedule are the N95 cabin filter, reduction gear lubricant, brake fluid, and electric motor coolant.
Reviewing the specifications and features of the Proton e.MAS 7, both the Prime and Premium models are equipped with a front motor that produces 160kW (215hp) and 320Nm of torque. The acceleration from 0-100km/h takes 6.9 seconds, with a maximum speed of 175km/h.
The e.MAS 7 electric car is equipped with an Aegis Short Blade LFP battery, which has a capacity of 49.52kWh for the Prime version and 60.22kWh for the Premium version. The Proton e.MAS 7 Prime has a range of up to 345km on a single charge according to WLTP ratings, while the e.MAS 7 Premium can travel up to 410km on a single charge based on WLTP ratings.
In terms of charging, both models are capable of supporting three-phase 11kW AC charging. The Prime version can handle up to 80kW for DC fast charging, while the Premium version can handle higher rates of up to 100kW. Pro-Net reports that both electric vehicles can charge from 30-80% in approximately 20 minutes.
The Proton e.MAS 7 has the capability to use Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology to power household appliances with a maximum of 3.3kW, and it can also support Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging up to 6kW.
